Cotton Suiting

Discover our cotton tailored pieces made in Paris from reused materials. Available in a textured cotton canvas sourced from luxury maisons deadstock, perfect for summer and mid-season wear.

Cotton is a prized natural fabric known for its softness, breathability, and versatility. Ideal for both mid-season and summer, it provides exceptional comfort while maintaining a structured drape. Our cotton tailoring sets are designed to suit every moment of the day, from office hours to evening terraces, from city escapes to seaside weekends. Worn as full looks or separately, our cotton suits are available as jackets, trousers, or waistcoats, offering multiple ways to create elegant silhouettes.

The cotton waistcoat: an effortless essential

Inspired by the masculine wardrobe and reimagined for everyday femininity, the cotton waistcoat is lightweight, breathable, and easy to wear over a camisole or a simple tee, for a structured silhouette with minimal effort.

Paired with matching trousers, the cotton waistcoat becomes a modern, relaxed tailoring set. It can also be worn open over high-waisted jeans or a flowing skirt for a more casual-chic look.

Our waistcoats are crafted from repurposed cotton fabrics sourced from dormant stocks, carefully selected for their quality, softness, and durability.

The cotton trousers: between comfort and structure

The cotton tailored trouser is a staple of the modern woman’s wardrobe. Its supple yet structured fabric moves with the body without restricting it. It’s the perfect piece for crafting a summer or mid-season work outfit, paired with a light blouse or a tank top, it creates a confident silhouette that stays comfortable. Cotton gives the trouser a structured drape. With its high waist and straight cut, it suits all body types. From office hours to afterwork drinks, it’s an everyday essential.

The cotton jacket: natural elegance

The cotton tailored jacket is the centerpiece of a refined summer suit. Crafted in exceptional cotton fabrics, it pairs beautifully with matching trousers, raw denim, or a flowing dress. Perfect for cooler summer days or the in-between season, it blends comfort, lightness, and structure.

At Facettes Studio, our navy blue cotton canvas jacket is made in Paris using fabrics from carefully selected dormant stocks. We exclusively work with natural fibers,  no synthetic materials.

Cotton: a demanding natural fabric

Often seen as an accessible natural material, cotton actually varies greatly in quality and environmental impact. Conventional cotton, when grown intensively, requires massive amounts of water and pesticides.

At Facettes Studio, we choose to use repurposed natural materials exclusively sourced from dormant luxury house stocks. This approach helps us avoid producing new textiles, make the most of what already exists, and guarantee premium fabric quality while reducing our environmental footprint.

Our cotton fabrics contain no synthetic fibers, for optimal comfort and greater durability. Breathable and softening over time, cotton is a fabric that ages well when properly cared for.

Cotton in the textile industry: beware of greenwashing

Not all natural materials are created equal. Many brands use the word “natural” loosely to describe fabrics that are far from sustainable, including uncertified conventional cotton or standard viscose.

At Facettes Studio, we do our best to reduce our impact: we work with conventional cotton only when it comes from dormant stocks. Repurposing existing materials cuts the environmental footprint of our collections in half.

All our fabrics are meticulously sourced.

Our cotton tailoring sets are made locally in Paris in very limited quantities, following a slow fashion approach where each piece is crafted to last across seasons.
