At Facettes Studio, we offer a women's wardrobe that is built to last and as eco-friendly as possible. We have chosen circularity by reusing dormant stocks of luxury materials and opting for local, ethical production with Made in France. 

Choosing circularity through reuse

Upcycling pre-consumer materials, also known as reuse, is an approach to making fashion more circular by giving existing items a second life. 

We select dormant stocks from European luxury houses, mainly French and Italian, and choose each material with the utmost care. Not to be confused with recycling, upcycling does not require the energy-intensive reindustrialization that recycling does.

All the fabrics used at Facettes Studio come from dormant stocks, whether for the main materials of our creations or for the linings and fabrics that cover our buttons.

The choice of ethical production thanks to Made in France

All Facettes Studio creations are made in France, from buttons to tailoring. We have chosen to be as close as possible to our workshops in order to preserve local know-how and guarantee the most ethical production conditions possible.

The women's blazer jacket: a wardrobe essential

The blazer jacket can be worn in countless ways, for everyday wear in wool gabardine or for evening wear in powder grain with a silk satin collar. Available in timeless and elegant colors, our women's suit jackets can be worn from morning to night, from the office to cocktail hour. Choose the classic little black jacket for everyday wear from mid-season to winter, the white jacket for sunny summer days, or the navy blue jacket that can be worn in all seasons. Our wool blazer jackets have the perfect cut that allows you to move freely, neither too fitted nor too oversized. 

The tailored vest: a timeless piece in any woman's wardrobe

Originating from the traditional men's three-piece suit, the vest has established itself as a piece that can be worn separately, without necessarily pairing it with a jacket and pants. First worn by men and then by women, the tailored vest is now a timeless piece in both men's and women's wardrobes. Vests come in a variety of cuts: the tailored vest can hug the female form in a more fitted version, or can have more masculine-feminine or even rock accents in a straighter version.

Tailored pants: a must-have in any woman's wardrobe

Whether for workwear or a formal evening event, tailored pants are an essential for everyday wear and all occasions. Tailored pants can be worn in summer in canvas or linen twill, and in winter and mid-season in wool gabardine.

The pantsuit: a wardrobe essential

Worn as a separate blazer or paired with matching pants for a pantsuit, the jacket is a true wardrobe staple for women. Available in navy blue, black, and beige wool gabardine or black wool twill, our matching sets are essentials that can be worn all year round and will stand the test of time, regardless of fashion trends. 

The women's tuxedo: a wardrobe essential for men and women

The blazer jacket has been revisited in ultra-elegant tuxedo jacket versions for evening wear with their black silk satin collars. In tone-on-tone black or contrasting black and white, our tuxedo jackets made in France can be worn for special occasions but also every day over a T-shirt and jeans, creating a striking contrast.

Choice of materials: reusing luxury fabrics

In addition to French manufacturing, we have chosen to reuse dormant fabric stocks from leading French and Italian fashion houses in order to minimize our environmental impact. We select the finest materials from these dormant stocks.

Materials chosen for their quality and drape

We choose each material with the utmost care to ensure the best drape and comfort. Not all fabrics, even those from dormant stocks of luxury houses, are created equal: we choose the fabrics that are best suited to the cut of our designs in order to achieve a flawless finish. Among our selection criteria, we take into account the weight of the material, its feel (which must not be itchy, especially for wool), the transparency of the fabric, as well as its composition and country of origin. We choose fabrics woven in France and Italy to guarantee the best quality and traceability as close as possible to our French manufacturing. Some fabrics may be manufactured in Japan, which also guarantees quality fabrics as this country has extensive expertise in weaving fabrics.

Materials selected without synthetic fibers

To take the reuse of dormant luxury stocks even further, we have chosen to ban synthetic materials in order to avoid microplastic pollution and guarantee beautiful, high-quality fabrics. We have banned polyester, nylon, polyamide, etc. from our compositions in order to offer you beautiful, breathable materials that are comfortable to wear and look great. However, we do use artificial materials that are not natural but are derived from natural fibers, such as viscose, for example. Conventional viscose is not in itself an eco-friendly material, but we choose upcycled viscose, i.e., viscose from dormant stocks.

High-quality clothing at fair prices

We believe in fashion that is more eco-friendly, more thoughtful, slower, and offered at fair prices in order to get closer to the true value of things.

No excessive marketing, no middlemen inflating margins by adding markups. We offer designs at fair prices all year round, and we don't inflate prices to encourage you to buy in the sales. 

Our model is not an easy one to sustain, but we want to show that this fair pricing model is possible and continue to support our eco-responsible and human commitments, which are our raison d'être.
