The Founder
Facettes Studio was born from a desire to change fashion: a slower, more responsible, more elegant approach, while remaining affordable. Marie-Laure launched Facettes Studio after 10 years of experience in the fashion industry and many years of personal and professional questioning to offer a different fashion.
Long before eco-responsibility was a fashionable word, Marie-Laure wrote her Master's thesis on Made in France. With a Master's degree in Textile-Clothing Purchasing and Logistics from a French business school, she went to New York to do an end-of-studies internship in the e-commerce department of a major American brand at a time when French and European brands were still denigrating it. This experience in the United States, which was only supposed to last 6 months, turned into 6 years spent in New York, returning to school for training in merchandising at a prestigious American fashion school, and experiences within fashion houses and start-ups where she perfected her skills.
Facettes synthesizes these last 10 years and a vision of affordable luxury without compromising on quality and without greenwashing:
- French manufacturing which guarantees ethical production and the protection of local know-how
- Reused materials chosen to guarantee the best fit according to the style of the garment. Zero polyester or polyamide to avoid micro-plastic pollution
- Timeless colors and pieces that work together
- An elegant style that transcends fashions and trends, because elegance and eco-responsibility are not incompatible.
- The choice of quality for more sustainable fashion, clothes that we wear often and for a long time
Fan of disco and disco balls, Marie-Laure extends the meaning of the word "facets" to all the facets of women's lives that inspire her, the different facets of the fashion industry that she wishes to show with spontaneity and transparency, and the different facets that constitute the creation of a garment.
