Why we don’t do Black Friday
This year, just like last year, we’re not doing Black Friday.
Our vision of fashion is one of durability and quality: less is more. We take the time to perfect our creations and deeply believe in taking our time to build our ideal wardrobe. That's why we offer editions of timeless pieces that can be worn year after year. Yesterday’s editions have as much place in our collection as tomorrow’s.
We prefer to offer a fair price all year round, rather than inflating prices and then having a sale.
This year, rather than offering discounts during the Black Friday period, we are taking part in the make friday green again operation and donating 10% of our sales to the no more plastic association, which fights against microplastic pollution.
Every year, the amount of plastic produced around the world is roughly the same as the entire weight of humanity.
91% of this plastic is not recycled.
An estimated 8 million metric tons of plastic ends up in the ocean each year.
Plastic pollution is flowing from our homes and communities into rivers, onto beaches and down to the very depths of the ocean. Once in the ocean, this plastic breaks into smaller pieces that litter the sea floor, endanger marine life and contribute to health problems for us.
If nothing changes, there will be more plastic than fish in the ocean by 2050.
No More Plastic fights for a ban on single use plastic, which comprises 50% of plastic pollution.
