Linen Suiting
why linen is perfect for a summer suit?
Linen is one of the most popular materials for women's summer wardrobes. Naturally thermoregulating, linen keeps you cool all summer long with comfort and elegance. Its slightly rustic texture gives all pieces a more relaxed look, perfect for summer outfits that you want to wear from the beach to long summer dinners. Worn together or separately, discover our linen sets for women: linen waistcoat and trousers or linen jacket and trousers, for summer looks that are both chic and casual.
What colors are available for the linen suits?
Our linen suits come in three timeless colors: an off-white linen and silk fabric, a navy organic linen fabric, and a black washed linen fabric. Fabrics from dormant stock of major luxury brands, 100% linen or linen blend, always without synthetic materials, for maximum comfort and always with elegance.
How to wear linen pants in summer?
Linen tailored trousers are also available in linen for your summer wardrobe, to be worn with a matching waistcoat or jacket for elegant summer outfits that aren't overdone. We also love wearing linen trousers over a one-piece swimsuit for an outfit that goes from the beach to the beach bar, with simplicity and elegance. For light and elegant office outfits and to combat heatwaves, linen tailored trousers will be your best ally for summer looks that reflect your style.
Why is linen an eco-friendly material?
At Facettes Studio, we only use materials from dormant stocks of major fashion houses to encourage reuse and avoid waste. We only use natural and artificial materials, but no synthetic materials. We have chosen an ultra-elegant linen and silk fabric in an off-white version, a navy blue 100% GOTS linen fabric, and a black washed 100% linen fabric.
What are the origins of flax and the origins of fabric?
Linen is a natural plant-based material primarily grown in temperate regions near the sea, mainly Belgium and Northern France. France is the world's leading producer of linen, accounting for 80% of global production. While France is the top producer of linen, it sometimes sells it to countries like China and India to be processed into fabric and then into garments. Our linen fabrics were woven in Italy, meaning they remained in Europe and did not travel multiple times around the planet.
Where can we try on the linen suits?
We welcome you by appointment at our studio apartment in the heart of the 11th arrondissement. A special moment with the founder to try on our collections.
