Our Upcycled Materials
We have made the choice of upcyling: we only use existing stocks from French and Italian luxury houses and carefully choose our materials for a perfect fit, adapted to the style of the piece. To go further, we have chosen to ban polyester and polyamide from our materials so as not to participate in the phenomenon of micro-plastic pollution. Discover our "upcycled" materials.

Navy Blue Wool Gabardine
Naturally robust and waterproof, gabardine is a tightly woven fabric known for its durability. Designed to last and soften over time, it is particularly well-suited for jackets and coats. We’ve chosen a repurposed wool gabardine from Nona Source, sourced from the dormant stocks of a major European luxury house. Made from 100% virgin wool and woven in Italy, this navy blue gabardine is ideal for creating timeless, long-lasting pieces meant to be worn often and for years to come.

Navy Blue Textured Cotton Canvas
Made from 100% cotton, our textured cotton canvas features an irregular surface reminiscent of linen. Cotton is naturally breathable and comfortable, helping to regulate body temperature throughout the day. Equal parts casual and refined, this navy cotton canvas is sourced from the dormant stock of a major fashion house and woven in Italy.

Anthracite Wool Twill
Twill is a fabric weave similar to gabardine, one of our favorites, but with a finer, more supple appearance. To round out our wardrobe, we chose an anthracite wool twill that’s perfectly suited for mid-season wear. Sourced from the dormant stock of a major fashion house, this fabric is made from 100% wool and woven in Italy. Comfortable yet elegant, it’s ideal for pieces designed to be worn time and time again.

Black Washed Linen Canvas
Linen is one of the oldest and most enduring fabric weaves, and also one of the most durable. Made from 100% linen, our linen canvas is soft, supple, and features a naturally irregular texture, ideal for casual wear. As a fiber, linen has a low environmental impact, requiring minimal water and pesticides to produce. Sourced from the dormant stock of a major manufacturer, this fabric further reduces its environmental footprint.

Off-White Linen and Silk Canvas
Canvas is one of the oldest and simplest fabric weaves, and also one of the strongest. This version, made from a blend of linen and silk, features a subtly irregular texture that strikes a balance between casual and refined, while always remaining elegant. We selected this off-white linen and silk canvas, woven in Italy and sourced from the dormant stocks of a luxury fashion house. The fabric is thick enough to avoid being too sheer, yet light enough to remain comfortably breathable and fluid.

Black Wool Grain de Poudre
Slightly thicker and more matte than our original black grain de poudre, this 100% wool version comes from Japan. Like all our fabrics, it is sourced from the dormant stocks of a major luxury house. Grain de poudre is a noble fabric with a distinctive matte finish, woven from finely combed wool yarns. It is the fabric par excellence for tuxedos and refined evening wear.

Black Wool Grain de Poudre
Also known as Barathea, grain de poudre is a noble fabric with a matte finish, traditionally woven from finely combed wool yarns, sometimes blended with mohair. It is the quintessential fabric for tuxedos, tailcoats, and evening blazers. We’ve selected an upcycled grain de poudre from Nona Source: made of 100% wool and sourced from Italy. The wool lends it a sophisticated, contemporary matte look—fine enough to offer ease of movement, yet structured enough to ensure a flawless fit.

Black Silk Duchess Satin
Duchess satin is a luxurious satin-weave fabric known for its smooth, lustrous appearance. Contrary to popular belief, satin is often made from synthetic materials like polyester. Ours, however, is an upcycled duchess satin sourced from Nona Source, made of 100% silk and originating from Italy. Its substantial weight provides excellent structure, while the silk offers a rich, elegant sheen.

Midnight Blue Wool Gabardine
Naturally stretchy and water-resistant, gabardine is a durable fabric known for its tightly woven structure. Made to last and soften with time, gabardine is ideal for jackets and coats. We’ve chosen an upcycled wool gabardine from Nona Source, made from 100% virgin wool and woven in Italy.

Charcoal Wool Twill
Twill is a fabric weave similar to gabardine, Facettes Studio’s signature material, but with a softer, more fluid drape. We selected a charcoal wool twill that is finer and lighter than our black wool gabardine, in order to complete our wardrobe with a fabric better suited for mid-season wear or summer evenings. Sourced from the dormant stocks of a luxury fashion house, this twill is made from 100% wool and woven in Japan. The result is a fabric that is both soft and refined, offering all-day comfort and timeless elegance.

Black Stretch and Waterproof Wool Gabardine
Naturally stretchy and water-resistant, gabardine is a tightly woven fabric known for its strength and durability. Designed to last and soften over time, it’s especially well-suited for jackets and coats. We’ve selected an upcycled wool gabardine from Nona Source, made from 99% virgin wool and 1% elastane, and woven in Italy.

Navy Blue GOTS Linen Canvas
Naturally breathable and temperature-regulating, linen is woven here into a soft, elegant canvas. One of the most eco-friendly materials available, linen requires little water and no pesticides to grow. This navy blue linen is both GOTS-certified and upcycled, making it one of the lowest-impact fabrics in our collection. The GOTS certification ensures environmentally conscious farming and production practices, improved working conditions, the use of organic fibers, and the exclusion of harmful substances such as toxic heavy metals or aromatic solvents. This linen, sourced from dormant luxury house stocks, was woven in Italy.

Black Linen and Viscose Twill
Naturally breathable and thermoregulating, this linen is woven into a flexible yet durable twill. Warm in winter and cool in summer, linen can accompany you all year around. We’ve selected an upcycled linen and viscose twill from Nona Source: composed of 70% linen and 30% viscose, and woven in Italy. The addition of viscose helps reduce the natural wrinkling of linen, while maintaining a soft, fluid drape. Viscose is an artificial but non-synthetic fiber, made from bamboo pulp, and does not contribute to microplastic pollution. That said, its production process is chemical-intensive, and bamboo sourcing often lacks transparency. By using upcycled viscose, we give new life to dormant luxury fabrics, without creating new environmental impact.

Off-White Wool Gabardine
Naturally stretchy and water-resistant, gabardine is a robust fabric thanks to its tight weave. Designed to endure and soften over time, it's particularly well-suited for jackets and coats. We selected an upcycled wool gabardine from Nona Source: made of 100% virgin wool and woven in Italy. In an elegant off-white shade softer than pure white this gabardine is thick enough to ensure opacity while maintaining a refined drape.

Midnight Blue Viscose Cady Crepe
Cady crepe is a fabric that combines fluidity with a structured drape, offering a dry touch and an elegant matte finish. We’ve selected an upcycled crepe cady from Nona Source, made of 100% viscose and woven in Italy. Viscose is an artificial chemical material made from wood fibers. Ideally, the viscose we would have preferred to use would be certified by PEFC, FSE, or FSC to ensure the tree pulp comes from sustainably managed forests. However, our viscose crepe cady remains upcycled, meaning we give new life to dormant stocks that have already been produced. Additionally, viscose does not contribute to microplastic pollution.
