Hello Leslie, can you tell us about your background in a few words?

Hello Facettes!

Passionate about fashion and art, I've always drawn. After studying communications at the American University of Paris and an exchange at NYU, I pursued a Master's degree in Fashion Brand Management at Polimoda, then headed by Linda Loppa. I then joined the House of Dior, where I worked for six years in the events department, coordinating the experience of guests, press, and celebrities at international fashion shows and exhibitions. It was a wonderful, intense, and demanding experience that taught me a lot. At the same time, I also collaborated on the development of collections with a stylist, for major fashion houses as well as more commercial brands.

How did you decide to launch Lunier?

I always knew I wanted to create. And over time, this desire became a necessity. I carried in my heart shapes, textures, very precise—almost visceral—ideas that had to be brought to life.
For as long as I can remember, I have always been drawn to the Moon, intuitively, as if to something familiar. It is always there, reliable, elegant, poetic. Growing up on the Basque coast, rocked by the ebb and flow of the tides, I observed its tangible influence, both gentle and powerful.
This discreet force, this call of nature, has never left me. Lunier was born from this fascination: that of movement, balance, and the invisible forces of the universe that shape what we create.

What are the next steps for Lunier?

We are about to launch our first leather collection - a big and exciting milestone.
Lunier is in a phase of structuring and growth. We are expanding our distribution network in France and internationally, carefully selecting partners aligned with our values.
I would also like to open a showroom, and eventually a boutique: a place that will embody our world in a tangible and immersive way.
And of course, growing the team, little by little.
More broadly, I want to continue to develop Lunier with intention, respecting its rhythm, and cultivating what gives it meaning.

How would you describe your style?

The basis of my style is rather timeless and casual; I like to feel comfortable. I favor beautiful natural materials and well-cut pieces.
But I also like to play with contrasts: balancing a romantic blouse with oversized jeans, or breaking up a very demure silhouette with a more rock piece, for example. It's a balancing act, reflecting a kind of duality in me; between romantic and boyish, casual and elegant, timeless and vintage, Paris and the Basque Coast.
I also have a real passion for travel, know-how, and craftsmanship; which often draws me towards ethnic details, subtle prints, or an unexpected touch of color, like a wink.
And then what perhaps defines my style the most is that I always match my Lunier bags to my outfits - or vice versa! They are often a starting point, or a punctuation mark.
I'm also very intuitive in the way I dress. What I wear should always make me feel good and aligned.

Who are your style icons?

Betty Catroux, Anita Pallenberg, Lee Radziwill, Jane Birkin, Bianca Jagger, Françoise Hardy, Kate Moss. I am very inspired by the women and style of the 60s and 70s. I like free, instinctive, elegant looks but never too dressed up.

Your favorite piece in your dressing room?

Right now, my favorite piece is my Facettes Studio set - the monica vest and the bianca pants in midnight blue cotton canvas. I love its fluid and structured look, both masculine and very elegant. It has this nonchalant chic that is just as suitable for day as it is for night, while remaining comfortable.
And then there's also a midnight blue zip-up polo shirt that I treasure: a Dior prototype from the Raf Simons era. A unique piece, both understated and sculpted, preppy and a little sexy, which embodies my style quite well.

"I'm also very intuitive in the way I dress. What I wear should always make me feel good and aligned."
